The dogs grew weary of the constant barrage of rain that would pour down the coal chutes into their room in the cellar, so we've finally decided to do something about it (sorry front porch, masonry work, and servants' wash house/garage, you will all have to wait until next year).
Dylan (otherwise known as the ''man with the handrail master ...

We've been home now for almost 2 months, and yet, we still aren't done replacing furniture and decor, but we are well on our way. Right now, it's just a matter of playing the insurance game, buying what we can afford, turning in receipts, waiting for reimbursement, buying what we can afford, turning in receipts, waiting for reimbursements, ...

There's definitely more work to do (the kitchen has no plumbing, the replacement rugs have yet to show up, the house has no guttering, and most importantly, of course, my theater equipment is still all boxed away :), but, since this past Saturday was the 8 month anniversary of the fire, and the fact that we've grown weary living ...

The house has now been completely painted on the inside. If you had seen the house after we renovated it the first time, you'll know that we enjoyed having a color for each room. We went back with the same idea, though, now that the house is a bit more open due to the revised staircase, we decided to try and tone down the crazy (I'll ...

Annabel has grown quite a bit over the past year. Here's last year's card for a quick comparison. At least she's finally grown into the ears she got ...

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to track down a place to purchase this wallpaper.
Even though we've removed the wallpaper from every other room in the house, it has remained in tact in the foyer as we attempted to keep something original to the house prior to our arrival. It was in pretty rough shape to begin with, as ...

Today hosted some great events in downtown New Albany to take sneak peaks into current restoration efforts downtown. I must say, the building at 213 Pearl Street is amazing to look at. Who would have thought all of that was behind the metal facade?
We then took a tour of the River City Winery, though, no photos from ...

After a marathon (there's a pun only a geek will get) session of digitally developing photos, I'm finally caught up. Word of warning, no photos of Justin in this post, as those are now signed, sealed and delivered and are now in Tabitha's hands, so you can harass her for those (for which she'll probably point you to her Flickr page ...

Yeah, it got here much sooner than I expected, and needless to say, I burned up my lunch break pretty quick. My favorite part, I must say, other than the exaggerated depth of field, is that it rocks at photos under natural lighting, so it makes it much easier to catch the dogs sleeping :)
