Ben - The Best Drummer I've Ever Known

Last night I got a call that my long time friend and previous band-mate Ben died in some sort of car accident in Colorado after he flew out there to interview for a job. The details are still fuzzy as to what exactly happened. Even though we hadn't seen

Steven, Stop Uploading Videos of Yourself on YouTube :P

Consider this an intervention. When you've gotten to the point of two handed finger-tapping a toy guitar, you've gone too far. Don't make me send Mindy over there to eat your guitar too :P If you are curious about the song, it's Jordan, by Buckethead,

Update to this original posting: It seems when the dogs mentioned in the original article busted a $3 million dollar fake DVD ring, the pirates didn't take it so well. They have now offered bounties on the head of the two dogs with the Malaysian crime

My HD-DVD Player is Happy :)

Thanks to Best Buy, this is what my poor screen looked like yesterday: Thanks to Coconuts (a random music store that I tracked down when I called pretty much everywhere in the phone book music/movie related), my screen looked like this on my lunch break:

Worst Tim Armstrong Impression, Ever...

In recognition of Steven's new haircut, I tracked down the following video of Guitar Hero II for XBOX360: Wow, whoever was playing the bass part sure was having a hard time. Wonder how they would do if they threw Maxwell Murder in the game instead? :P

GWAR: The Aftermath

Just got back from the glorious time that is known as a GWAR show, which the best way to describe them is a rock opera with a B-movie horror theme. Each year they perform a different show with a different host of guests characters, though, they themselves

Flirting with Fame: Metal Style

Well, tomorrow is another day, but what makes it special is that it is GWAR day :) I could always rely on Scott and Ben to be on call for a good GWAR show, but since they haven't been around, attendance has been lack luster. Though, I did get Dennis

Television is the Retina of the Mind's Eye

Soon, Tempest 2000 will have a companion as one of the greatest games ever made (it was reason enough to own an Atari Jaguar and the soundtrack was reason enough to own the Atari Jaguar CD system). I bring to you, Space Giraffes. Coming to the XBOX360

Reading this Tribune article about a car reported stolen over a year ago in New Albany found in the Ohio River when they were searching for, oddly enough, a different vehicle that was reportedly used in a number of robberies that they received a tip about

Maynard: Sith Lord

If you've never seen TOOL live in concert, you don't know what you are missing. The band pretty much performs in the dark with huge projection screens showing various images that synch with the music. Their methadology is, it's about the music, not them.

Medical Advice from Tool

Have you picked up the new Tool album yet? If not, you should, if for nothing more than the cool packaging. Spend the $9 and you get some sweet stereoscopic lenses and 3D artwork. Oh, and medical advice in the lyrics, which was great for me and my sinus
